The Kitchen

Our bespoke cookery school kitchen is a culinary haven designed to cater to aspiring chefs and food enthusiasts. The design emphasises functionality, safety, and aesthetics, creating an inspiring atmosphere for culinary creativity. It's a perfect setting to expand your culinary skills and nurture your passion for food.

Sample Classes

Lobster Ravioli and Raspberry Cranachan

12 - 2 pm | 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Our very first lesson on how to make fresh pasta and assemble into the perfect lobster ravioli. Followed by step by step on how to make this simply irresistible Scottish dessert.  After cooking we will all sit together in the restaurant where we can taste our creations and enjoy a venison pie created by the chefs in the kitchen.         

Fish Cookery

12 - 2 pm | 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Cooking fish 3 different ways. Learn how to poach, grill, and pan-fry different fish. Also how to make a white wine sauce to accompany your fish. Colin will be doing a demonstration on how to fillet fish, and everybody will be making a dauphinoise potato as a side dish.

Delightful Puddings

12 - 2 pm | 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Make yourself a pear tart tatin, a chocolate and peanut tart from our own menu and some homemade hand-rolled chocolates. Take them home with a recipe pack and a complimentary cookery school apron. 

Curry Night

12 - 2 pm | 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Come and learn to cook the perfectly marinated chicken tikka, a korma sauce and garlic naan bread from scratch. Colin will take you through the different stages and talk about other curries. Take your dishes home with your very own recipe pack and a complimentary cookery school apron.
